I went to this school last year and it was a great starting experience! Mana and Lupe were incredible teachers and I appreciate them with all my heart. When you actually go into the field it’s going to feel like you learned nothing haha but that’s not fault to the teachers it’s just nothing can prepare you for actually working in an office until you’re in one. Only downside is the dental office I was taught in, Mana and Lupe were unable to use to its full extent in my opinion. The x-ray dummy was broken most of the time so it was difficult to get x-rays done properly and we didn’t have an impression cutter so we just had to hope for the best when going into the real world. The office was dirty and not the greatest but at least for my class we just took it as a learning experience that this is the type of office you look out for to not apply to 😂 Mana and Lupe were amazing teachers I rate them a solid 10/10 and I appreciate everything they taught us regardless of the office. Dental Assistant school was a great experience for me and my siblings. Mana was our instructor and honestly she was the best instructor I’ve ever had. She was super sweet very understanding and never gave up on us. Mana didn’t just taught us the basics but also taught us how to engage with our patient, not be afraid to ask questions and always communicate with the doctor. I am a current student with Tucson DAS, the program is only 12 weeks and goes by really fast so that being said, my teachers have done a great job of being consistent and providing me and my classmates with as much knowledge as they can and support us to the best of there abilities to prepare us for our journeys in dental assisting. The teachers were the best part of this whole experience, they make you feel so comfortable and are so encouraging! I would recommend Tucson DAS to anyone who’s ready to jump into dental assisting it’s a great start! Read less
